Nature's original networker The root structure of fungi, mycelium weaves invisible networks through soil that help plants exchange carbon and nutrients. Grown on agricultural waste — spent coffee grounds, straw, sawdust — it binds into a rigid, shock-absorbent material in as little as 5–7 days. Independent lifecycle assessments show mycelium bio-foam produces significantly lower greenhouse gas emissions than expanded polystyrene — the material it is designed to replace. We are in R&D on mycelium-based trays and protective packaging for fruit and vegetables, where single-use plastic waste is among the highest in the food supply chain.
